Our founder & director Laura M. Pana joined the conversation on the role of local and global in design and presented her work at Migrationlab. She shared the stage with award winning design critic and New York Times contributor Alice Rawsthorn; architect and urban planner Stefano Boeri; and designers Matylda Krzykowski and Jing He in a discussion that challenged perceptions and showcased ideas on the past, current and future sustainability of the topic of 'Local' in design.

The one-day international symposium explored the workings and implications of design promotion and the design canonisation processes. Our founder Laura M. Pana presented her work at Migrationlab and how different forms of design support or lack thereof has shaped her practice and contributed to the development of the organisation and the Living Room project.
